Bills quarterback Josh Allen marries actress Hailee Steinfeld in California ceremony

Franchise quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, most valuable player, and, as of Saturday night, newlywed.

Josh Allen married actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld in Ventura, Calif., according to the New York Post. The date of the ceremony remained private until images circulated on social media.

During an interview on NFL Network, Bills left tackle Dion Dawkins revealed it was May 31, but he then told "The Rich Eisen Show," "I ain’t know anything about that.”

Allen's busy week began in Orchard Park at the Bills' voluntary practices. He would have been excused from the workouts if he needed time to prepare for his wedding to the Oscar-nominated actress. Nonetheless, Allen's presence was appreciated by coach Sean McDermott and illustrated the quarterback's commitment to preparing the Bills for the 2025 season.

"I think it says everything, right?' said McDermott. "He is the face of our organization. He’s the leader of our team. Like any leader, in particular the leader of the team, those words that he says and his actions are exponentially impactful, to the whole roster, the whole team.”

Allen proposed to Steinfeld during the Bills' bye week in November, and she's frequented Bills home games since the two were first seen at dinner in New York City in 2023.

Allen, 29, has led the Bills to the playoffs for six consecutive seasons, and he's entering his eighth season. The 2018 first-round draft pick threw for 28 touchdowns in 2024 and led Buffalo to the AFC Championship Game for the second time in five years. He signed a contract extension in March worth $330 million to become one of the NFL's highest-paid players.

Steinfeld, 28, recently starred in the blockbuster hit, "Sinners," a supernatural horror film, and her performance in "True Grit" in 2010 earned her an Oscar nomination.
