Wasn't sure which forum to put this in, but the movie itself is political in the sense that it's about the election of a new Pope so this seemed most appropriate.
Conclave is now streaming on Peacock and I was really impressed with it. More interesting than a movie on this subject probably has any right to be. I can't recommend it enough.
If the subject matter alone doesn't do it for you, I can say that it will come as no surprise that a film where two characters talk about chess in the first 5 minutes and how another character "was always 8 movies ahead" has a late twist. And as far as movie twists go, it's quite strong.
This thread will probably include spoilers eventually, so watch before reading further and then come join the conversation.
