Japan breaks internet speed record with mind-blowing 1.02 petabits per second - Dexerto
A new internet speed record has been set, and it’s fast enough to download massive games like Warzone in less time than it takes to blink.

Japan just hit internet speeds so fast, it could download all of Netflix in one second

A team of engineers there reached 1.02 petabits per second, which is over a million gigabits every second. To put it simply, that’s 3.5 million times faster than the average internet speed in the US.
And the best part? They did it using fiber cables similar to the ones we already use.
