Buffalo Fire Department crews responded overnight to a fire at Mulligan's Brick Bar, 229 Allen St.
Allen Street from Wadsworth Street to Elmwood Ave is closed until further notice while crews continue to work on extinguishing the fire and ensuring the area is safe, according to an email from city officials.

The Brick Bar is next door to the site of the Old Pink, which burned and was demolished in June. John W. Burns, 40, was charged with arson in that fire.
According to a Buffalo Fire dispatcher, the two-story building with a step-down in the back suffered $500,000 in damages to the building and $200,000 to the contents. An emergency demolition has been requested.
Firefighters are still on location Sunday morning, and the blaze is under investigation, she added. "The fire is under control, but they're just making sure it's out," she said.
