Why the fluck would you name Chuck Schumer as your Senate leader? If the Dems had control of the senate he'd be good for it because he'd give the DNC the experience to gridlock legislation. As a minority leader? He's toast. Trump is going to run roughshot through the congress and he is going to bore us with rules of decorum and parliamentary procedures and niceties. That is not how you stop the Trump brand of Repugnant. You gotta be ruthless, not hemming and hawing. Frankly, he should have been removed from leadership years ago. The DNC Establishment needs an enema.

Depends on how I feel. Honestly, I would do Liz Warren, love her politics, or Mark Kelly, but honestly I would want Kelly running for president in 2028, but being minority leader might give him the bona-fides he would need. He'd be comparatively young, only mid 60s, comes from a purple state, has lived a fascinating life and doesn't seem like a terrible person

Warren would be solid in that role, I agree.
