Full list of Buffalo Bills free agents 2025 feat. Amari Cooper, Damar Hamlin, and others

After losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Divisional Round in the 2023 season, the Buffalo Bills lost a number of important players in the offseason. They include wide receiver Stefon Diggs, safety Jordan Poyer, cornerback Tre'Davious White, center Mitch Morse and wide receiver Gabe Davis. However, the team has recovered this season and is now in the playoffs after finishing with a 13-4 record and the No. 2 seed in the AFC.

The Bills must deal with players whose contracts are about to expire. They will begin contract extension negotiations with some of them, while others will be allowed to test the free agency market.

Additionally, as players could sign extensions at any time, the Bills don't need to wait until the next offseason to proceed with these agreements. Therefore, it may be crucial to keep track of which players will be free agents following the completion of the 2024 season.

Buffalo Bills' impending free agents (selected players)

#1 Wide receiver Amari Cooper (30 years old)

Cooper was traded from the Cleveland Browns to the Bills in the middle of the 2024 regular season. His contract will expire at the end of the 2024 season, and if the star wide receiver becomes a free agent, he will surely be an especially sought-after player.

#2 Cornerback Rasul Douglas (30 years old)

Rasul Douglas, who was dealt to the Bills in October 2023, signed a three-year, $21 million contract with the Green Bay Packers in 2022, and is in the last year of that deal.

Aside from when he had to sit out due to an injury, Douglas has often been reliable in his first full season in Buffalo.

#3 Defensive tackle Austin Johnson (30 years old)

Austin Johnson committed to a one-year deal with the Buffalo Bills for the 2024 NFL season last offseason. It's now left to be seen if he will be with the team beyond this season.

#4 Wide receiver Mack Hollins (31 years old)

Since joining the team in March 2024, Mack Hollins has been a popular figure among the fans. But his one-year deal will expire after this season.

#5 Safety Damar Hamlin (26 years old)

Although his time with the Bills may be coming to an end, Damar Hamlin has performed well when called upon this season. He may be able to find a respectable agreement at another team even if he doesn't receive an extension with the Bills.

Hamlin entered the league as a sixth-round pick in 2021 and is now in the last year of his rookie contract.

Philips

The rest can sod off

No dead money toward Diggs and 17.5 for Von if cut.

Douglas wasn’t the ball hawking presence a year ago. He will be overpaid elsewhere. We are stuck with Samuel another year.

Is it me or does it seem Gilliam has been on the team forever? Only 26?

You thought he was good this year? Last year he was lights out with big splash plays. He was invisible this year. Not a bad thing for a CB but at 32? Can be replaced if bid is too high

Rated #12 in 2023. PFF grade 81

This year… rated 132nd with a grade of 59.2

His coverage ranking was 127 out of 223 cornerbacks

Zero picks.

Sure you want a boatload of cash going there?

It sounds like he’s headed back to Green Bay from everything I’ve read so maybe it’s a moot point.

Almost right.

They should keep Quintin Morris, Reid Ferguson, Ty Johnson, Gilliam, Hollins and Rasul Douglas. If you don't care about Alec Anderson then you haven't been paying attention. The Bills love him and call him their most important o-line back-up. I believe he's already back???

The entire set of DTs should be fired except for the guy they drafted last year: DeWayne Carter, who is very good. They should especially jettison that expensive heap of crap named Ed Oliver (Bills' Ed Oliver: Regresses in 2024).

Hamlin is a nice story, but not a good player. Bye-bye. Smoot, Phillips, Austin Johnson all blow chunks.

Cooper will not be missed. Someone better will take his place for less money.

And, Quintin Morris is a great TE, if you really paid attention. What the Bills should do is get rid of Dawson Knox and put Morris in that spot.

LOL. To be critical of the best DB the Bills had. Can you just realize that every single player around him sucked? So factor that in. The Bills should absolutely find a way to keep him. Damar Hamlin is garbage. Everyone else in the D-backfield, not named Douglas, is a back-up on other teams.

Anderson is back.
And man, I'm with you all the way.
Unless Brady can gameplan Cooper into the Offense as a primary receiver, which he won't then let him go.
Knox can go to BUT Kincaid needs to either become the number one guy and catch passes or put Morris into that role
