Everyone knows I am as far from a Global Warming alarmist as 1 can get.
I often thought there is a money motive behind all these plans for solar farms and floating Windmill armadas and all this regulation (banning) of natural gas appliances and the subsidising 60 K electric vehivles that few want all in a play to save the planet.
2023. 82% of energy consumed in the US is from fossil fuels. 9% is nuclear
(Solar and wind is 2.5 )
Trillions spent especially with the Inflation Reduction Act.
Where is the renewable energy? More importantly… where is the money?
91 percent is still FF and Nuke. After all that is spent. Globally the FF use is up 2.3 % . Mostly increased by China and India.
Almost no country is close to Paris accord numbers. Germany spent the most on wind and solar yet is building new gas fired generators and importing more energy.
Where is the money?
All these politicians implement deadlines for green transitions that are far outside their term in power. Holy kick the can, Batman.
The world cannot run on renewables. Canada does pretty well with 60% nukes and hydro (But those sources are no nos with the green blob.)
Where is all the spent money?
