I would not say that Joe Biden handed the election to Donald Trump last night, but he took himself out of the running. There is no recovery. There is no having a cold or an off night. All of the behind-the-back mumbling of Joe Biden‘s mental state was on full display on that stage.
His approval rating will plummet from this. And if the primary mission for the Democrats is to ensure that Donald Trump does not win this election, then they need to remove Joe Biden today. And it will probably take his wife and his family to sit down with him and get him to understand that right now he is the biggest detriment to the Democrats winning this election.
Even if he was able to govern from the White House and suggest and pass policies, one of the biggest responsibilities of a president is to be the face of the nation. And Joe cannot do that any longer.
