The Sabres defenseman had already missed time this season with a knee injury

Buffalo, NY (WGR 550) - By now the Buffalo Sabres are used to bad news on the injury front. Michael Kesselring missed the first 10 games of the season with a knee injury and then he played nine games before leaving the game on Saturday in Detroit. He exited the locker-room in a walking boot and Lindy Ruff said it’s going to be awhile until we see him again,

“He’s going to be out an extended period of time, on the longer side, weeks.”
