Sabres announce training camp roster for Lindy Ruff's return as coach

Jiri Kulich and Isak Rosen are among the recent draft picks on the Sabres' roster. Ryan McLeod, Jason Zucker, Sam Lafferty, Nicolas Aube-Kubel, Beck Malenstyn, Dennis Gilbert and James Reimer were added this offseason in an effort to improve the club after it finished with eight fewer standings points in 2023-24.

General Manager Kevyn Adams will address reporters Wednesday before practice at 8 a.m., then Lindy Ruff will hold his first press conference since he was named coach in April.
The Sabres have three preseason games at home, beginning Saturday against the Pittsburgh Penguins at 7 p.m. Buffalo will also host the Columbus Blue Jackets (Sept. 23, 7 p.m.) and the Detroit Red Wings (Sept. 30, 7 p.m.). Most of the NHL roster will depart next week for Munich, Germany, where Ruff's club will play an exhibition game against Red Bull Munich on Sept. 27.
The other road preseason games are Sept. 24 in Pittsburgh, Sept. 26 at Ottawa and Sept. 28 in Columbus. The Sabres open their season in Prague, Czechia, against the New Jersey Devils on Oct. 4 and 5.
