So, the ABC judge and Robert’s sided with the liberals and shut Trump down..

Is this a good sign for the constitution of this country??

What did you think he was going to get sentenced to?? Prison??? Like come on.. this is why he wanted to win the presidency, and this is why ANYONE who voted for him or anyone other than Harris is part of the problem, and are the ones who need to be more engaged with politics.

Now we get to watch the Republicans DO everything they claim the Democrats were doing but they weren’t.

We have to let the Republicans show their true colors now..

And I am on your side and you know it.
 
YR would be sure to tell me that Trump is qualified to run, but we really REALLY should change the rules so people who commit treason and try to overturn democracy can't run for president in the future.

Nobody who HOPES SS/Medicare/Medicaid get cut is on my side.

Hoping they get cut is evil.

Hoping that IF they get cut MAGA shitheads snap out of it and have a come-to-Jesus moment is naïve but at least understandable.

You continue to express the former, and I will continue to think you need your own come-to-Jesus moment until that stops.

No. They only let it ride because it had no implications on his taking over the Presidency and expecting him to appeal it, anyway

They did as much as they could do. Americans need to open their eyes to the fact that the Constitution is full of holes. And you should thank Trump for pointing them out. But will the Congress fix any of it? Doubtful in my lifetime.

The founding fathers weren't as smart as our history books say they are. In fact, they were stupid. They produced a document that, 250 years later, is letting Trump do anything he wants. Not good for the people.

Give me judicial term limits.

Give me no lobbyists.

Give me no PACs.

Give me limits to political donations.

Force elected officials to work for the people.

Stop treating corporations as indivuals with the same rights.

Not sure stupid is the right adjective. They were self-interested.

A bunch of wealthy white landowning men built a country that empowered wealthy white landowning men.

But also, FWIW, this was at a time when liberalism was still relatively young. They couldn't foresee a future where there would be dedicated anti-Enlightenment movements. The system they designed was one that presumed good faith governance, so there was little sense of the necessary safeguards they'd need to put in place to curtail fascists who have no interest in good faith governance.

We've made structural changes to the election of the President and Senators that leaves open the route to making the population ignorant enough to support Chickens for Col. Sanders. The founders put "the people" in the House of Representatives. They put the states in the Senate. And they mixed it all up with electors voted by the people who represent Bothe the people and the states in the electoral college. It's all gone, really. Should we go back? Not sure without strict money in politics goals.

I just checked.

Gently remind him that your bad behavior (his words) are actually his fault because he doesn't moderate the forum well enough and allows it to happen. Same logic he applies to Dems when the Republicans roll back rights.

Yardrat is what he is. I don't GAF anymore. I am actually registering today for my masters in psychology. I have a 4th career to focus on.
