Look, honestly I don't care about abortion. I'm a guy and so its not my particular fight. So really I didn't care one way or the other about Amendment 3. That said, the people of this state did vote to enshrine at least some abortion protections into the state law, and if we are a democracy then the vote of the majority of the people should be all that matters and these protections should now be part of state law. However, the GOP in this state is sctually looking to go against what the people of this state voted for.
Because of what the GOP ia doing, this is not a reproductive health issue any longer but one of democratic government and who exactly should have the power. The legislature should never be able to overturn the vote of the people just because they disagree with the people. As its an issue or preserving democracy I now care about this, and I stand for what the majority of voters in this state to have the law that they voted for.

Missouri legislators seek to overturn abortion rights passed under Amendment 3
The resolution, if passed by voters, would remove the provisions that were in Amendment 3 and instead allow abortion only in cases of rape, incest, medical emergencies or fetal anomalies.
