Don't get me wrong. I understand and in fact mostly agree with people outraged that Russia may have tried to meddle in our elections. The question is, when do get outraged when the Israelis, and to a lesser extent the Saudis, do this? Buh gibby the Russians had that puppy dog ad on social media and now Trump. That's nice, but when you see AIPAC buying candidates in both parties election after election for the past several decades when do you get pissed? Why isn't AIPAC and its operatives forced to register as foreign agents?

Wanna shut down RT America and Lee Camp for spreading Russian propaganda? I appreciate that. I mean Lee Camp is his own guy but I get not wanting to let Moscow shape American viewpoints. When do we apply similar pressure to John Hagee, Jay Sekulow etal?

Russia has tried to influence elections, Israel has purchased senators, congressmen, and presidents to the point that during the 2018 government shutdown, Congress could not find the time to pass a budget but they could find time to pass laws limiting the first Amendment at the behest of a foreign government. I believe this was more Saudi and Israel than Russia. I have been pretty sick for the past week so I haven't read much of my book, but this is how the Authoritarian Regimes have been taking over all over the world. Trump is now taking us back to the gilded age w/the support of Zionist??

No no, my point was that while people are justifiably angry at Russian efforts to meddle in our elections, they should be absolutely apoplectic at Israel as Israel has done far more and for far longer.

Trump is an authoritarian, but the problem is that our government is authoritarian regardless of party and it always has been. When people look at Washington and say its broken because its unresponsive to our needs, I say no its not. It was literally designed that way. Part of the design is authoritarianism. Think about it, the war for Independence was started because the economic and power elites didn't want to have to pay taxes to the British. The constitution came about because a bunch of peasants in western Massachusetts didn't want to pay taxes.

That constitution? You and I can't vote for president directly, you couldn't vote at all and until I bought my home I couldn't vote either. Those I could vote for? The house? They were checked by the senate (whom the elites in my state and yours sent to DC). The electoral college is part of the authorianism that has always haunted this country. You and I getting to decide who the president is by the popular vote? No no, we are the mob, the riff raff, the unwashed massses, and while the mob has always been exploited used by the powerful, its never allowed to rise against the powerful (see Shays and see Nat Turners and see Occupy).

So yeah, no surprise Trump is making nice with other authoritarians. As far as the gilded age, well we have been there since Rayguns. Up to the 80s most Americans on a single income could buy a house, a car, and raise a kid or two. Since Ronnie Rayguns, patron saint of Fuck you capitalism uh trickle down economics, that has gone away. The powerful? They use clowns like Glenn Beck to smear the progressives and then they get clowns like Trump to make a mockery of populism and its by design.

Trump isn't where he is because he has money and Putin wants it. He is in power because the business interests and the political elites want to use him to make a mockery of anyone who wants to use the office to reduce their death grip on this country. I hate Trump, but he is a symptom, a smelly stinky pustule that is awful to look like. Cutting him out will feel good, but the cancerous mass below the surface is still wreaking havoc on your body
 
Head to head between Trump and Putin? Yeah, I do see these two risking all life on earth over Ukraine and I have had this fear since 2014.

I get what your point was, I am just not totally sold this time that it was Russian interference. Either I have been really sick, which led me down a lot of weird rabbit holes, or this really is a reboot to Zionism, and HE is their stooge. Jared did say that the Gaza Strip would make for GREAT waterfront property, Israel wants to expand its land, to do so they have to go to war with Iran, and get rid of those pesky filthy Palestinians. Either way we are about to find out .. the other person I have done some reading on today is Erdogan, and his role in all of this. I don't know... something just doesn't add up with this election. The man never had to answer to the J6 Insurrection!! Like HOW did America ALLOW that to happen??

America didn't allow it to happen. Merrick Garland, specifically, allowed it to happen. If he hadn't dragged his feet on investigating and indicting Trump, Jack Smith's trial would have concluded well before the election and Trump wouldn't have been a viable candidate.

Regardless, McConnells Senate didn't Impeach him .. Mitch kicked it to the voters, and that was for a reason. I do believe Garland was put in an awful situation, because he was going to be accused to of witch hunt no matter what, and then the SCOTUS granted him immunity .. so they ALL kicked it to the voters, and we put him RIGHT back in, which I say BULLSHIT, but ... whatever

The immunity ruling only came this year after it was obvious Trump was the only one in the GOP with any juice. He didn't even participate in the primary and ran away with it. If Garland had done his fucking job it's conceivable that SCOTUS would have let the charges hold and trusted that someone else in the field could mobilize for the 2024 race.

Trump could be both Russia and Bibi's bitch, and maybe even Xi's. Trump likes two things, hearing his name (you could tell someone in his presence Trump is a piece of shit and he'd still smirk and have a raging stinkhorn because you said his name) and money. Third, how did he get elected? Part of it is that Harris just ran a bad campaign. Part of it was a cult of personality that would make Stalin and Kim say damn dude tone it down a bit, part was a fuck you vote. Part was a low information vote aka I have heard of Trump before, who is Kamala? Part, was indeed racists and misogynists. Part. and this angers me the most is voter supression. It is entirely anecdotal, butI know some irregularities occurred at least in Georgia. A black friend of mine's kids never received their absentee ballots. They are of age, have no felonies or criminal records, Shari and her husband raised them right, and should have received ballots. They were not even allowed provisional ballots. Black people having voting issues always makes me suspicious so I am going to say that at least in Georgia there was voter suppression at least locally in the outer Atlanta suburbs, makes you wonder about some of the other states like North Carolina, Wisconsin, Michigan etc.
