It seems to me that I’ve used this, but I have no specific memory of being on one. I know I saw them in shoe/dept. stores, and it looks like they phased them out in the ‘70s. That inspired me to remember these in dept stores, Western Autos, Radio Shacks, etc……

Yeah, I liked Ted, until the last years, he kept losing his place when calling the game. It might have been due to his Pick’s disease, which went undiagnosed for years. They’d find him wandering around the Lockport mall making people uneasy. Nobody realized he was losing his mind. Sad story. RIP...

Yeah, he got killed in a car accident. He was king of the corny pun. I met him a couple times, he seemed like the guy he was on tv, happy and easy going. Ran for mayor of Lockport once I believe. RIP Clip, you corny bastard!
