As the No. 1 seed, the Broncos (14-3) had a first-round bye and will hold home-field advantage for however long their playoff run lasts.

The time off will have given several injured key players – including linebacker Dre Greenlaw, defensive end John Franklin-Myers and running back JK Dobbins – a chance to recover, perhaps in time to play Saturday.
Greenlaw (hamstring) made 43 tackles in just eight games. Franklin-Myers (leg) has 25 stops and 7½ sacks in 16 games.
Dobbins (foot) was the team's leading rusher with 772 yards in 10 games, splitting time with R.J. Harvey.
The Broncos are in their third year under Sean Payton, who has coached 11 playoff teams and won Super Bowl XLIV with the Saints. Payton took the Broncos to the wild-card round last season, losing 31-7 to the Bills in Orchard Park.
The Broncos ranked 15th this season in total offense (5.3 yards per play) but first in total defense (4.5 yards allowed per play).
