I do not want Dabol. His history as an OC or HC is abysmal - except for his last two seasons when he had Josh to lean on.
without Josh he never had an offense greater than 18th in the NFL.
Dabol OC history
Cleveland OC 2 seasons
- 29th in total offense, 32 in passing
- 31 in total offense, 29th in passing
Then goes to Miami
- 20 in total offense, 23 in passing
Then goes to KC
- 32 in total offense, 32 in passing
Then goes to Patriots as TEs coach to regroup (3 seasons)
Alabama - wins national championship as OC - How much was him?
Goes to Buffalo as OC
- 30 in Total Offense 31 in passing (Josh rookie year)
- 23 in total offense, 26 in passing
Then the big jump for the next two years as OC
- top 3 total offense and top 10 in passing for the next 2 years
Then leaves for Giants
In buffalo the next two years without Dabol
- Top 2 total offense and top 10 in passing
- Top 6 total offense and top 10 in passing
Giants with Dabol
- 18 in total offense, 26 in passing
- 30 in total offense, 31 in passing (Barkly is gone)
- 31 in total offense, 28 in passing
- last season - fired after 10 games.
Pending the resolution of the teams still playing football, there aren't too many choices out there. But I would rather someone ese lead the team.
We need a hard ass coach that pushes Josh and not a new buddy for Josh to play golf with during the off season.
