Seriously, the only thing that was kinda cool about that was the historical review, except for whatever reason they left out the War of 1812, I've been to Fort McHenry before and that is a cool thing, the Mexican War, and the Spanish War. Anyways, the uniform recreations and the equipment and cav marches were cool. That said, the marching needs a lot of work, everyone except a couple of the bands looked out of step and like they had absolutely no rehearsal. I won't even ask how many tax dollars were spent to fund this jealousy fit.
I do mean jealously fit. Compare the ribbon motiff for 250 Years of the Army with the Saint George Ribbon for the 80th anniversary of the Victory Day Parade in Moscow from May 9. Don't worry about googling it I am going to provide the video footage for it, keep reading.
The parade formations looked unrehearsed and unprepared. The marching was sloppy. Buh buh they were marching ahead of the weather, and in 1941 the Red Army moved their 10 AM start up to 8 AM to avoid the Luftwaffe, so what's your point. The only redeeming aspect to today's taxpayer funded shitacular is that maybe its the first rehearsal for next years Independence Day Parade. That said it was sloppy.
If you are going to have a parade to scratch your ego because your dictator friends have parades too, then at least make your parade look as good as their's.
Buh they moved it up to escape the weather, that's why it was sloppy. These guys moved up a parade to avoid the luftwaffe and as soon as they had marched past it was time to march to the front and they knew not many would be coming back:
Now take a look at this slap dash no pride parade. This isn't a knock on the soldiers. God knows they'd probably like to be with their families, having a beer with friends, and resting up. Its a knock on Der Orangefuehrer
Now lets look at that ribbon. If you saw it in our parade tell me it doesn't look like the one in this parade:
For those who fear commie indoctrination-
Compare the style of the Saint George Ribbon for May 9 and the 250th anniversary logo and you can clearly see Trump isn't even trying to hide it any more:

Seriously, Trump can fool some of you, but I see these parades and I know that Trump is shamelessly trying to look like a tough guy so he can sit at the Dictator and Despots table.
