Radim Mrtka is shooting up the NHL draft rankings boards. Here he is ranked #25: LINK. However, most every mock draft now has him going in the top 10. Here's why...
Remember several years ago when every team seemed to be clamoring for left-shot defensemen? Well times have changed. Everyone now clamoring for right-shot defensemen. Mrtka is a very mobile 6' 6" monster with a right shot. After big guys like Ristolainen and Tyler Myers didn't work out, I get why the fans might be hesitant, but it is a need.
