I don't care anymore. Not talking politics anymore. Nothing comes of it, all that places like this has brought us back to the gilded times, an people are happy about that. or don't care. These places are no longer worth energy.

I wish it was that simple. Maybe for some people it is because they just don’t care. But while you’re peace outing, political machine is still going and the guy driving her right now is still having an adversely negative effect on our lives and our future and our children’s futures.
Talking about it that only keeps it in the open, but helps get the frustration and anxiety off your chest and for me, forces me to believe that I might be doing something to either illuminate people who don’t agree with my opinions or my views or maybe, Possibly not, but maybe, open their eyes to how their own views are misguided.
It’s also my own form of protest.

Sukie, my anxiety is through the roof, and I come out to these sites and see MEN laughing and encouraging this nonsense. What the FUCK did our past ancestors fight for? These so called members of our military are a disgrace to the uniform for what they have been fighting for, because it sure as fuck wasn't for what our ancestors fought for. I can't handle what is happening, I wake up everyday crying. EVERY FUCKING DAY. And people LAUGH AT THAT. I get why my mom gave up on life .. what is the fucking point, people DON'T care.
To me, politics is like music. My 17-year-old hates my music and I hate her music. Her music is rap and it’s all about sex and drugs and violence and I can see how destructive it is. One of my favorite things to say to new people is that my youth was better than their youth because we didn’t have rap music
But it doesn’t matter what I say, cause she’s never going to change. Until she either matures enough to understand or has that aha moment and recognizes that her music is stupid because I have illustrated to her why it’s stupid so many times.
Same thing with these Trump supporters. I know they’re ridiculous and you know they’re ridiculous and we both know that their politics is detrimental to our lives. But I feel like if I can drive it home enough times using facts, and the effects of their politics start to affect them in a negative way, they will have that aha moment.
And that’s why I don’t ban them from this place because number one everybody should have a voice, even if their opinions are ridiculous as long as they don’t break the rules. And the more ridiculous they sound like JoeFerguson lately, the more of an entertainment factor, and the more of awareness of just how deep these people are sucked into this bullshit, political agenda
You have to remember that history repeats itself. The first time we’ve had this type of situation. And while the circumstances are different, we still survived it. At least nobody is drawing up armies yet.
The other thing is that people like you and ICR and others are valuable members here. Those other guys they come in for a minute and then they leave. There’s no real value to that so I don’t feel like there’s much damage from them being here.

Dude I am literally taking 2 online classes, and all I am learning is that NO ONE actually learns ANYTHING. No one has cultural fluency, NO one understands the core principals of Social Justice, NO one knows Americas history, and NO ONE is other than a FEW of us are speaking up.
We are LITERALLY re-living the gilded age, that our ancestors ALREADY fought!! When history repeats itself to this level is when you know that NO ONE is educating themselves at ALL, and we have sociopaths running our government.
We are literally LOSING our rights and the MAGA crowd LAUGHS at us.. this is NOT ok and everyone should be shaming them and NOT CENSORING US!!
