Music: Your current choice of a listen

This was the 2nd album I ever bought.
I always wanted to open our sets with the song Black Sabbath
Parents hated them, along with Alice Cooper. But, if you took the music away and just read the lyrics it was more positive than they could have imagined.

Sabbath took their name off of a movie marquee they happened to see, a b rated horror movie. They are just so scary haha.

I gave the lyrics to Revelation (Mother Earth) and After Forever to a friend's Christian mother who kept saying I listened to devil music

Her eyes man, when I was a teenager I wanted to do things to her, man…🤣👍.

Somebody To Love and White Rabbit, great vocals from her…
Haha, the blinking is "flashing" from tripping. She was a hottie for sure back then, she basically got passed around the entire Airplane band for fun times. Jorma's guitar playing on that one is incredible. I had a beer once with Jack Casady before an electric Hot Tuna show in the 80's, super nice dude.

Some of her best vocals are on this one.

That’s a great memory to have, nice! 👍

Yeah, I remember watching an interview with her on tv, can’t really remember when, but long ago, where, during the interview, her baby started crying, and she gets it and flips out a boob and starts nursing it. 🤣🤣

I have been listening to a lot of extended mixes recently simply because when I am away from desktop I can't get back to play another tune and YouTube -- yes I own Premium but it seems limited to to two devices (my iPhone and my iPad) -- will go to a damn commercial or change the music radically from what genre I am listening to.

Here is an extended tune that reminds me of where HipKat currently lives...

The background guitar is incredible, really a well done 3 minute song.

"Nash wrote "Immigration Man" about an unfortunate moment he had with a U.S. Customs official when he tried to enter the country. The customs official held him up interminably, and soon people started coming up to Nash for his autograph. When that happened, Nash was allowed to go through, but he remained angry with the treatment he received."

If you like a taste of the bizarre. Music supplied by FZ and the Mothers of Invention.

Just downloaded the Hollies greatest hits as I am (trying) to learn Bus Stop on the guitar. The Hollies are a band we've all heard of, but never paid much attention to. Had more hits than I realized. Graham Nash played rythm guitar before joining CSN. They arose about the time of the Beatles. A bit more pop. Some songs similar to other acts: Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress? Everyone swears that's CCR. It's the Hollies. Carie Ann? Sounds like the Beach Boys. Other song or two sound a bit like San Francisco acid rock of the late 60s. Cameleons. But capable of pulling it off.
Songs you know:

Bus Stop
Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress - is that CCR?
Carrie-Anne - sound like the Beach Boys?
Stop! Stop! Stop!
The Air That I Breathe
He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother

Look, TikTok has some shitty shit on it, but it also gives us bangers like this guy who takes text convos other people have posted online and turns them into songs. This thing's been stuck in my head for 3 days since I first heard it.
