Never liked K-Mart but I remember when Wal Mart had a hypermart right across the road from Bannister Mall and they had a large food court.
McDLT was the best. It was a mid-80's thing that McDonald's should have never gotten rid of. One side had the bottom bun with the burger and cheese, keeping it hot, the other side had the top bun with the toppings, keeping them coldDon't remember this, but I do remember the Arch Deluxe and really enjoying it also I remember the big breakfast that was nice. Also, remember the old fries? When they used beef tallow? Yum
K-Mart had the one great thing no one else had: Layaway!Never liked K-Mart but I remember when Wal Mart had a hypermart right across the road from Bannister Mall and they had a large food court.
Steak n Shake went back to beef tallow, the thin fries are great once again. Goes well with their burgers which are the best fast food burgers out there imo.Don't remember this, but I do remember the Arch Deluxe and really enjoying it also I remember the big breakfast that was nice. not old enough to have one of those, but I do remember when you could call a tv repairman and actually expect the tv to work for a few more years after the repair. Also, remember when Zenith and RCA made good quality electronics? Remember when tvs weren't just for entertainment they were beautiful looking furniture
I’m so happy this was my music, I remember every song, I think. Maybe not the Donny and Marie song…
I hear ya… what a chart monster Elton was… some great music there now relegated to what is known as yacht rock. I did follow Mellencamp, U2, REM, Talking Heads, Matchbox 20 into the 90s but always fall back to 70-80sI’m so happy this was my music, I remember every song, I think. Maybe not the Donny and Marie song…
One thing I’ve realized with music especially, I’m stuck in the ‘60’s, ‘70’s and ‘80’s.
After that I kinda lost touch…….![]()
Mine goes a lot further than that. To me music of the 70s and 80s is just something to sing along to when I’m doing dishes. But I cannot listen to radio stations that only play music from that era. Plus, I’m more of a heavy metal guy so I stayed pretty current up until about the last 10 or 15 years. They’re very few bands in the modern era that I follow or care about. So my music is probably more of the 90s and early 2000s.I’m so happy this was my music, I remember every song, I think. Maybe not the Donny and Marie song…

I'm the same, after the 80's there is rarely anything that I really like. To me, the Best decade of music was 66 to 76. Still some Great stuff after that for sure but somewhere around 1990 is my cutoff.I’m so happy this was my music, I remember every song, I think. Maybe not the Donny and Marie song…
