Fish are fine. It's just guppies so they can reproduce and provide the newts food. If they can catch them (they have not)

The newts eat pond snails from the plants and black worms I supply. They used to eat bloodworms, but it turns out, I'm highly allergic to bloodworms.

The plecos like fresh zucchini and cucumbers.

I buy them in the discounted/rotting veggies section of the grocery store.

Much cheaper than the pleco wafers.

Unfortunately, the veggie will NOT sink to the bottom of the tank where the plecos are.

The little forks sink the veggies.
