Although it was risky, I added a pleco to the tank to help keep it clean.

Pleco are algae and shit eaters.

Carbolic left the pleco alone probably because he had plenty of big juicy feeder goldfish I would supply him quasi-daily and because I imagine plecos taste like shit.

We thought we should name the pleco since Carbolic had a name and the pleco didn't.

There was a real short power tripping student co-op counsel member who was universally hated.

We named the pleco Nate after him.

Unfortunately, one Thanksgiving Weekend despite giving Carbolic 4 huge feeder goldfish for the 3 days I was away, Carbolic decided to see what Nate tasted like.

He ate 1/4 of Nate before giving up.

I set up the 40G today for one piranha but I can't add it in for another month or so to ensure the tank is stablized.

I do have over two dozen plecos in the 90G.

We could name HipKat after a pleco or one of the feeder goldfish.
