It is. His software was great… bright eyed and always looking for a snack but the hardware failed. Wife and I had a -act when we lost or yellow, no heroic measures. Specially for an old dog. When Murr couldn’t stand (pee shit etc_ it was time. He had a bad rut hip and his leg atrophied to nothing… then over a year ago we gave him Librella and it was magic. Muscle grew back, he favored it but he walked completely normal for a year… today his other one went… just collapsed. At 95 lbs… I had to carry him in. Glad he’s no longer struggling.me? Hurt upper back but that will pass.
I miss him.

Sadly we said goodbye to Murray. 13 yrs old approximately (rescue). He was sharp but his body gave out. Unable to stand suddenly he was given a sedative and snored right through the final dose. Off to your next adventure my boy. (Fuck crying again.)

I am sooo sorry to hear that... Poor pup what cute boy. So hard as they are like family. I wish they lived as long or longer than us. Hardest part of owning a dog. Totally worth it though. Hang in there buddy!

Fortunately for us my daughter in law caught a stomach bug and we have dog sitting detail with Maestro … great diversion
 
for @sukie, my condolences. Dogs cause pain only once in their lives and its always for the same damn reason. As someone who went to Central Missouri State in Warrensburg, Mo, home of the Old Drum trial and therefore man's best friend here is the reenactment of that speech. Sure its Bonzo's less talented co star giving the speech, but its a great and beautiful tribute to a dog.
