I fell asleep around 6:30 PM after putting 3 hours out on the property readying the flower beds for the shit ton of rain and 58 F warm up happening this afternoon.
Mercifully, I slept through Trump's speech however I was awoken by a monster turd that screamed to be launched immediately.
Subsequently, within the half hour it was followed by its evil twin brother.
I am literally still recovering from those two "efforts" as I watch the post-speech analysis.
I don't know who I feel more sympathy for -- my progressive American friends or the my two white flag waving toilets.

His only half good part was Ukraine, but even then he couldn't even be conciliatory which means any long term chance at getting a treaty ratified is gone. The rest?
Well, he talked about how he took away the rights of minorities to work in government, he talked about how he pulled us out of the human rights commission, he talked about how he was against the environment. He bragged about how his new immigration plan was the gold card (see more about that on the threads started recently on here). He bragged about how he was going to squash trans rights.
When he wasn't doing that, he was pissing and moaning about how everyone was mean to him and he's the most persecuted person to ever live. It was literally a mockery of the Congress, the people, and good government.
The whole thing was vengeful, mean spirited and downright cruel.

I didn't watch it. I can't stand his voice and his lies are predictable. My GF Denise and I are binging Season 2 of True Detective. Worst season of the series, but much more enjoyable than listening to Trump preach to his cult

that is a lie. I was not hostile to those who were not pro Trump. I hated Trump because I knew this was coming. I was hostile to the DNC and those who went along with Biden and Harris because I knew both were terrible candidates. I criticized the party for not having a platform. I warned people that not not giving the people a clear choice would lead to people staying home and letting that murderous clown win and guess what fucking happened. Why did I start all those threads on the Zone? Well, its because I could see exactly where this was headed and guess what. It fucking did. I didn't want it to happen, I hoped to God it would not, but the party went business as usual and learned absolutely nothing and lost. Now democracy, the economy, the environment is all in grave danger. I warned and people didn't listen, but by all means call me pro Trump because nothing is further from the truth

Close but not quite. I showed my cards in the remembering the past thread regarding the Day After. I am not a Putin cheerleader, I am an anti nuclear war cheerleader. I don't see how Ukraine and the west winning without a lot of nukes being used and a lot of people needlessly dying. I don't like this war in Ukraine but I hate the idea of nuclear war even more. I don't want to exchange Chicago for Crimea and Kansas City for Kiev
