What about this blue one Spiked? Sorry to hear my fish died.

Good choice Daryls!!!

That is South American Cichlid.

It is NOT a Bolivian.

I will have to look up exactly what it is.

I put the Cichlids in there in groups of three.

They are a semi-aggressive fish.

I put them in gangs of 3 and they can get rough with the other gangs.

I have 5-6 gangs in there now.

Most find hiding spots inside the pirate ship or behind it.

They are nocturnal but will come out when I feed them every second day.

That fish of yours is young and will grow to twice its current size and will become even more colourful.

They are truly beautiful fish that cost much more than the community fish.

Good eye Daryls.

Here's the whole tank. 5 Danube Crested newts are the focus, but elders live-bearers and snails for clean up and several clams to filter water.

Everything else is live or natural. Lots of driftwood with moss on it, and java ferns. Lots of Vals for the newts to interact with and hopefully lay eggs on. And lots of anubias.

Also pothos to filter water and provide the newts with cover in the shallow water.

The plecos are taking over the 90G as they grow to maximum size of 6".

So many different types of plecos and their colours and marking are beautiful as they mature.

The 40G is always a mystery with that huge pirate ship dominating the waterscape.

I have a unique Candy Cane Pleco I bought on Boxing Day last year that I have only seen 4 times because it lives inside the ship.

Saw him the other day but he quickly darted back into the ship.
Plecos are beautiful in some colors. The issue is they require a ton of space and once they get past the juvenile stage, they don't actually clean much. You have to target feed them more. Looks like you're doing something right though!

They can also live out of water for months. They can bury themselves in like semi moist mud and survive months. I've seen videos where people find them and they are so dry, they'll actually crack and break and yet, throw some water on em, and they "come back to life"

Crazy animals!

Is that for grinding smoked fish to make dip? Well actually it looks like a pressure cooker.

About this item

DESCRIPTION
The Fluval FX6 Canister Filter features patented Smart Pump performance-optimizing technology, intricate multi-stage filtration, a built-in powered water change system and basket-in-basket tray design offering greater media capacity. It is the ideal choice for aquariums up to 400 US Gal (1500 L). Smart Pump Technology is critical in evacuating any air that may build up in the system. Once every 12 hours, the filter will pause and allow any trapped air to escape, thereby maintaining maximum filtration efficiency. Just add water and Smart Pump will prime in seconds. The FX6 features a multi-functional Utility Valve drain at its base, making it possible to empty the canister and perform seamless water changes by draining and refilling water directly from it. Convenient lid-mounted hosing clips offers clean storage when not in use - no need to reconnect for subsequent use. The lift-out stack of media baskets is at the heart of Fluval multi-stage filtration. Theselarge capacity baskets enable you to stack filtration media in the precise combination of layers that will work best for your aquarium.

Ugliest damned fish tanks I have ever seen. They look like they were put together by a drunk Canadian.

Oh wait.....

I suspect you are simply jealous of the new rubber hosing that came with the new canister filter since you have to use dirty ones that smell like ass to do your daily asshole procedures.

Life is so bleak for you.
