What Was The Last Movie You Watched?

This is a movie my wife and I enjoy. It’s a feel-good movie, corny and formulaic at times, but it’s fun and a great story. Acting is great, and it’s got authentic music from the years it takes place. I like when the producers spring for royalty fees for the good stuff. (I think it made Forrest Gump much better).

This is fun movie that, for some reason I didn’t care for the first time I watched it. I love Bill Murray, but really didn’t like his character. Until I watched it again, and saw that it was Dreyfuss, and the way his smug, arrogant character slowly disintegrated under a relentless barrage of a patient with no boundaries.

He made the film, imho.
I read that they didn’t get along well making it also…

Sinners. Film of the year, hands down, and has what I'm pretty sure is my favorite scene of all time. It's on HBO Max if you have it and haven't watched it yet. I cannot recommend it enough.

Love that movie. It's up there with Dead Poets Society, With Honors and Good Will Hunting. All great College movies with strong mentors who effect a major shift in a student/students.
Anything with a life altering experience, like Cast Away, Last Samuraii, etc are my favorite stories

Oh, I loved this movie! I haven't seen it since it came out.
To this day, I always yell out, "I'm sailing! I'm sailing!" whenever I'm out on the boat.

Incredible cast. Michael B. Jordan is great, and so is Michael B. Jordan. Same with Hailee Steinfeld-Allen. And a pretty much guaranteed Oscar nom for Best Supporting Actor, newcomer Miles Caton. His first film and he's god damn INCREDIBLE in it.

Written and directed by Ryan Coogler, who of course has worked with MBJ many times now. Fruitvale Station, Black Panther, the Creed movies. But this is truly some career-best work from both of them.
