What Was The Last Movie You Watched?

The Sting. One of my all time favorites, just everything about it is…….fun. It’s a feel-good movie about immensely likeable characters, even though they are actually con men, grifters.
But one of their own gets murdered by a ruthless crime boss, and they plot revenge, stealing half a million dollars by a “Sting” they concoct, taking his money without him being able to do anything about it.
Taken from a book called The Con (I think), originally the writer wanted to direct, and was going to make it darker( like the book), but Redford convinced George Roy Hill to direct and he wanted it to have a lighter, more humorous take. Or something to that effect, I’m not remembering details like I used to
. But, I can’t find anything I dislike about it, to me, it’s a masterpiece.
This scene of the poker game on the train is one I could watch every day and still be amused…
